Through initiatives such as Better Life Farming and Bayer Drone Plus, Bayer works with partners across the agricultural value chain to enhance value creation and competitiveness while helping better serve Chinese farmers.

Lingfeng Program

China’s implementation of Better Life Farming, Bayer’s global smallholder farmer initiative

The Lingfeng Program is the China implementation of Better Life Farming, Bayer’s global smallholder farmer initiative. Since its launch in 2024, the program has remained committed to its vision of “Leading growth and boosting harvests” working with key retailers and partners to help smallholder farmers in China improve productivity and achieve better harvests.

Lingfeng Stores serve as the program’s primary touchpoint for farmers, offering Bayer’s innovative product portfolio, locally tailored solutions and professional technical support. Selected stores also integrate Bayer Drone Plus, Bayer’s one-stop aerial crop protection service platform, providing farmers with more convenient and high-quality services.

Since its launch, the Lingfeng Program has continued to expand across key agricultural regions in China. Through initiatives such as Lingfeng Week, it has further broadened its reach and engagement with farmers. Field demonstrations across multiple crops have also validated the carbon-reduction benefits of Bayer’s sustainable crop protection solutions under real-world farming conditions.

Bayer Drone Plus

Bayer Drone Plus is a one-stop aerial crop protection service platform that brings together local agricultural service providers through digital tools. By creating an integrated ecosystem that combines products and services, the platform delivers more convenient and high-quality aerial crop protection services for farmers, drone operators and Bayer partners.

In 2025, Bayer launched the FeiBoLe Program, which uses digital tracking tools to engage more drone operators as promoters and advocates of Bayer’s high-quality solutions, helping create value for all participants across the ecosystem.
